When the customer orders from the Martin Food Equipment Online Shop, they acknowledge acceptance of particular terms of sale mentioned on the page and accept them unreservedly. The hereby general terms of sale govern the contractual relations between Martin Food Equipment and the customer. They are applicable in particular to the terms of order, payment and delivery and of the control of the possible returns of products ordered by the customer.
The general terms of sale are only applicable to the products sold from the Martin Food Equipment online Shop as well as to individuals and professionals ordering from the online shop.
The photographs, text describing each product and image are not part of the contractual field. Where errors occur in description, they shall not be the responsibility of Martin Food Equipment. The customer always has the ability to get in touch with Martin Food Equipment to obtain additional information on the products presented by sending us an email or contacting us by telephone.
These are not display products, these are products made for commercial use, some of which are hand crafted (ceramic dishes etc.) – as a result, imperfections that do not affect the correct function of the item are not unexpected occasionally.
The availability of the products on the site is only indicative. In case of temporarily out of stock, Martin Food Equipment will inform you of the delay in supplying these products.
Damages caused by the products on sale: Martin Food Equipment shall not be held responsible for damages of any kind, either material, immaterial or corporal that could result from misuse of the products for sale.
An acknowledgement of receipt of your order will be automatically e-mailed to you. Martin Food Equipment reserves the right to cancel any order of a customer with whom there has been a dispute concerning a prior order. Any information given by the customer when ordering binds them. Martin Food Equipment shall not be held responsible for the consequences of mistakes made concerning the wording of the details of the consignee of the products or of the debtor of the order.
Items must be paid in full on order. The order validated by the customer will be considered effective when the authorised banking payment centre send their acceptance. In case of refusal from the centre, the order will be cancelled.
Online Payment by Credit Card:
The banking information related to the customer (card numbers or expiry dates) are coded by the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) system and then treated by our financial partners, Elavon and Realex, therefore buying an item via Martin Food Equipment site is completely safe.
5. PRICING AND BILLING
The prices indicated in the order confirmation by the company Martin Food Equipment include the prices of the products, expressed in either Euros or Sterling, the V.A.T. charged at the applicable rate, the necessary delivery charge if applicable and is current at the time of the transaction. Transportation for expedited, special services or non Island of Ireland shipping is subject to additional charge. For countries outside the Island of Ireland, in advance of place your order, click into ‘CONTACT US’, provide your details, and we will respond to you by return.
The delivery of our products is carried out by our partner carriers throughout the island of Ireland. The products are delivered at the delivery address indicated by the customer on his/her order form. If the customer is absent, a delivery notification from the carrier will be placed in the business premises letterbox and will invite the customer to get in touch with the carrier to arrange a later delivery of the goods or to pick it up at the nearest carrier’s depot.
Where stocks allow, all items purchased online will be shipped to the customer within 48 hours. Shipping is €6.95 / £6.00 per order. However, where your purchases total in excess of €290 (EURO) before VAT or £250 stg delivery charges will be free.
Orders may only be cancelled in writing either by fax OR e-mail.
Orders that have already been shipped may NOT be cancelled.
8. RETURNS AND REFUND POLICY – MARTIN FOOD EQUIPMENT
Martin Food Equipment warehouses and ships all orders and it is Martin Food Equipment therefore who decides the return policy and has final right of refusal on all returns. Claims of damage, defect or error must be made within 48 hours of receiving your order. Returns of non-defective items must be made within 10 days after receiving the items, in its original packaging and in a saleable condition. Returns will be accepted, however, all shipping costs are at the customer’s expense and are non-refundable. Special order items are NOT returnable. For other items please check with us BEFORE ordering to determine if item is returnable. Credit card refunds will be processed to the original credit card.
