
Ingredients:
- 1 x Bag of Mec 3 Extra Milky Chocolate for base mix (no gelato base needed)
- Mec 3 Quell’Altra at will- approx 3mm in depth poured on top
- Mec 3 Quell’Altro dark to decorate/pipe – approx 20g
- 3 litres of fresh milk
Equipment Required:
- Batch freezer
- Blast chiller
- Piping bag
- Napoli ice cream container
Instructions:
- Heat 1 litre of milk to 85 degrees
- Empty full bag of Mec 3 Extra Milky into the hot milk & use a stick blender to blend
- Then add in a further 2 cold litres of milk and mix again
- Leave to sit for 10 minutes
- Pour the mixture into batch freezer
- When ready, extract the gelato into the napoli and flatten, cremino style
- Clean edges carefully and put into blast freezer to harden
- Once hard, pour approx 3 mm of Quell’Altra on top
- Fill piping bag with small amount of chocolate Quell’Altro
- Draw spiral spider web design, starting from the centre
- Then place in blast freezer for approx 10 / 15 minutes until touch dry
